UK public procurement
Most public contracts are not worth your evening. We tell you which few are.
1,562 are open for bids right now. Pick a firm below and winrate ranks every one of them against the work that firm has already delivered.
Measured, not claimed
We took 100 firms and the 117 contracts they went on to win.
Then we hid each win among contracts the firm did not win, rebuilt its profile from only what it had won at that point, and counted how often the real win landed in the top ten.
Judges each contract against the firm's own record of delivered work.
Matching on CPV codes — what tender alert services send you.
What picking ten contracts at random would have achieved.
Eighty-five per cent of the contracts we hid the real wins among came from the firm's own category codes, so this is not a straw man — the alternative was given every advantage. It is also not magic: roughly one win in four did not make the top ten.
How it works
No forms, no profile to fill in, no sales call.
We already know your record
Every public contract award in the UK is published. If you have won one, your delivered work is already in the data we read.
Every open contract is judged against it
Five questions per contract: proven capability, right size, same trade, close enough to serve, and whether you would be competitive against the likely field.
You get a shortlist with reasons
Each one says why it fits and, where it matters, why it might not. Including who the buyer usually awards to — which you can check yourself in a minute.
